The Lavieu laboratory, Université Paris Cité, Campus Saint Germain-des-Prés, is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher with a strong background in cell and molecular biology to join our team. The primary focus of the research is to explore and decipher the mechanisms of extracellular vesicle (EV) delivery at the molecular level.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and optimize novel cell-based assays to study extracellular vesicle delivery. Perform high-throughput CRISPR-Cas9-based genetic screenings to identify key genes and pathways involved in EV delivery. Analyze and interpret large-scale genetic and molecular datasets to uncover new insights into the molecular underpinnings of EV function. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate findings with broader research goals.

@ Research engineer position in radiobiology at the CEA Grenoble.
We are looking for a research engineer for a 6 months contract to work on a project aimed at evaluating the use of the RNA content of extra-cellular vesicles as a biomarker of radiation exposure.
The successful candidate will have a previous experience in cellular and molecular biology (culture of primary human cells, RT-qPCR analysis, including design and validation of primers). Experience in EVs preparation will be a plus. He/She will be creative, organized and able to work autonomously.

Analyses dynamiques multi-échelles de sécrétomes de cellules fibrogéniques et de macrophages par nanobiopuces en format multiplex
Le projet Multi-MacS est un projet interdisciplinaire « Science pour l'ingénieur » et « Biologie/Santé » qui ambitionne au développement de méthodes et d’instrumentations pour l’identification de composés actifs au sein de produits de sécrétion cellulaire (sécrétomes). L'objectif de la thèse sera de mettre au point des biopuces nano/microstructurées à résonance des plasmons de surface pour détecter, caractériser puis doser un ensemble de cibles biologiques multi-échelles (de la molécule à la vésicule extracellulaire) simultanément (format multiplex) au sein de sécrétomes que le/la candidat.e aura contribué à générer.
Le monitoring des cibles biologiques(cytokines, EVs) permettra d’apporter des éléments clés de compréhension de la communication intercellulaire dans la mise en place de la fibrose, ainsi que des mécanismes de régulation cellulaire par le micro-environnement inflammatoire.

@ Post-doc position in UMR-U1183 (IRMB, Danièle Noël) starting in May 2024 (up to four years).
The post-doc will carry out independent research on extracellular vesicles (EVs) derived from mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) and the evaluation of functional role in osteoarthritis. A selection of different RNA species with therapeutic interest will be transferred in EVs. Efficacy of EVs will be tested in relevant in vitro and in vivo models of osteoarthritis. The objective is to improve the potency of MSCs-derived EVs by modulating the expression of relevant RNA species with the aim of enhancing their therapeutic efficacy in osteoarthritis.

We are looking for an engineer to optimise processes of EV production from stromal mesenchymal cells and set-up their biochemical characterisation. The candidate will join a team developing extracellular vesicle-based therapies for autoimmune and osteoarticular diseases. The vesicle production process will be optimised to meet GLP criteria and the culture conditions for mesenchymal stromal cells will be adapted to increase their therapeutic effect. The optimisation of EVs will be validated using in vitro and in vivo functional tests in mouse models of osteoarthritis and systemic scleroderma.
