Post doc position Clermont-Ferrand
@ 3year Ph D Position is open at INRAE, Clermont-Ferrand/Saint Genes Champanelle, France.
The PhD work will be performed out in the Biomarkers team of the UMR Herbivores whose research programmes aimed at identifying, in cattle, the physiological mechanisms and biomarkers of feed efficiency and at determining the roles of adiposity and adipokines on animal performance.
The thesis aims to characterize the molecular signatures present in circulating microvesicles (exosomes) and explaining feed efficiency or body composition in meat-producing crossbred cattle raised on grass. Its program relies on the hypothesis that the integration of proteomic and lipidomic exosomal signatures and phenotypic data will characterize the mechanisms involved in these phenotypes and identify minimally invasive biomarkers to characterize them.
The profile we are looking for :
- Recommended training: Master in cellular and molecular biology or in animal physiology.
- Desired knowledge: whole-body physiology in mammals, datamining.
- Experience appreciated: data analysis on R, M2 internship or end of study carried out in a research
laboratory
- Skills sought: writing and presentation skills will be appreciated. Knowledge of physiology or
livestock in general will be an advantage for the understanding of the project.
For application details please contact: isabelle.cassar-malek@inrae.fr and muriel.bonnet@inrae.fr

PhD Offer, Paris Institut Curie France

@ 3year Ph D Position is open at Institut Curie in G Raposo group ,  Paris, France.
The PhD project aims to shed light on the cellular and molecular mechanisms of EVs fate and
uptake, comparing Exosomes, MVs and MBsomes derived from different cell types. In
particular how the contents of these distinct types of EVs are released to recipient cells and
the impact on recipient cell function(s). To these goals different methods will be used:
Purification of different types of EVs from diverse cell types, protein and RNA sequencing,
screening of molecular components and imaging methods from optical to electron
microscopy.

Post doc position, Montpellier France

The postdoc will carry out independent research on extracellular vesicles (EVs) derived from mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) and their functional role in aging. Based on a selection of proteins differentially expressed in EVs from senescent MSCs, the first objective is to validate the selected proteins using functional assays in vitro and possibly in vivo using murine models of arthritis. The secondary objective is to improve the potency of MSCs-derived EVs by modulating the expression of relevant proteins with the aim of enhancing their therapeutic efficacy in osteoarthritis.

Post Doc Position Bordeaux, France

The laboratory offers a postdoctoral position with experience in vascular biology and exosomal
microRNAs (exomiRs). Combining the latest advances in basic research in vascular biology and
an innovative therapeutic approach, the project aims i) to highlight and characterize the
alterations of the subendothelial layer of blood vessels in pathological contexts associated with
the overproduction of an oncomiR, ii) to show that this deterioration can be prevented or
contained. The results could lead to the development of a new therapeutic tool. More
